Students from Bilbao and Dortmund are invited to come together on the 2nd of December 2012 in the party room of Kolpinghaus in Dortmund at 6 p.m. - later we will go to the Christmas Market. For the party room take the elevator in Kolpinghaus to the 4th floor. Then turn right. At the end of the corridor take the stairs left to the 5th floor.
In 2012 students from Bilbao will have classes in Dortmund from the 3rd of December until the 7th of December.
These classes are part of the specialization in e-commerce in the European Master in Project Management. On November 9 and 10 there will be a preparation in Bilbao. In February 2013 there will be final presentations in Bilbao.
Students are requested to read some core documents on e-commerce in October. They should check e-catalogs in their working fields and collect information on the way products are described and classified.
Students are requested to prepare a very short presentation on their results. On case studies their is a list of appropriate products for such a research. But students may prefer e-catalogs in their specific working fields. In Bilbao we will decide which cases are appropriate for further research and for the presentation of results in December in Dortmund and in February 2013 in Bilbao.
In Dortmund we will deal with comparisons of classification system cpveclass and with the harmonization of property sets eclassproperties.
In Dortmund there will be a workshop on Information Supply Chain and a workshop on catalogs and on the classification of commodities with the discussion of results students prepared. After the workshops in Dortmund in February 2013 there will be presentation of the final results in Bilbao.Course structure
